It took a month, but I didn’t forget you!
@relished.bsky.social here you are! Crossing the extremely wide Han River.
The ceasefire in #Gaza, which has endured war for 15 months, is set to start in 15 minutes.
"So much hope as the clock ticks," @unrwa.bsky.social says - for families to be reunited & for food aid to reach the hungry.
@washingtonpost.com is live reporting it.

@pietsch.bsky.social & @myhlee.bsky.social on the impending showdown at #southkorea’s presidential residence. www.washingtonpost.com/world/2025/0...
Live reporting of an attempted pre-dawn raid of #SouthKorea’s president, who had tried to stage a coup. It’s freezing out there & police are trying to find a way in, even via a hiking path. Hope nobody is hurt. @koreajoongangdaily.com
I don’t own a car! But next time I see a beautiful view of the river, I will post it.
I will not ruin this moment with an inadequate mobile phone photo, but golden dawn light was hitting the Han River just so when I commuted into work today, and it was so beautiful. I understand why #Korea is called the land of morning calm.

A tragic follow-up. Nearly all the passengers on the flight to Korea were killed. My heart goes out to their family and friends.

Sad to start my Bluesky feed with a tragedy.
@koryodynasty.bsky.social reporting for @theguardian.com that a Jeju Air plane crashed in S Korea, killing 20+.
Terrible thing to happen during the holidays.
Praying that rescuers can save the survivors on the plane.
