I know nothing about the site, but it felt pretty questionable, and this just feels...awful. Like, AI has so thoroughly ruined so much that both ends of the debate can turn into the worst kinds of people.
I wish this would get some better attention, so there could be some kind of resolution.

I'm obviously keeping them anonymous, they don't know I'm doing this and I'm just angry. AI has become such a scourge that it's completely demotivating. Like...I don't like 3621 for a few different reasons, but this is a whole new level of bullshitery.
AI is the scourge of all artists. It is not "harmless", because it can and has created bullshit like this. And this is not the first time I've heard stories like this.
This is unfair and just gutting.

Obviously, they are unmotivated and taking some time off. And I'm just angry. What the hell is this bullshit? They refuse to communicate with them, deny all of their evidence, and demand that they make a six-hour, unedited video showing them working on something?
When asking for the evidence, they were refused, just being told that the evidence was "credible".
Just...what the actual fuck? This is YouTube level bullshit where the artist/creator is the one getting punished unfairly.
And of course this because of AI slop bullshit. Like what the actual hell?
They appealed for that decision, and showed evidence via screenshots, showing their sketches, wips, layers on their art and everything. But apparently that wasn't enough for the people in charge. And they wanted them to make a new piece from the start and record the whole thing, the whole window.

A friend I know has an e621 account and gallery, had it for years. But recently, that gallery was completely deleted, because someone accused them of 'tracing ai art'.
