Left for Milwaukee yesterday, 10 hour drive. Took 12 hours and barely half way. Currently in the below let’s hope I make it because my deck is sweet!

Lorwyn eclipsed pre-release rares

I went 3-0 at this afternoons pre-release with a sweet pool. I pulled 2 of each of the merfolk lord and kithkin uncommons so went with a bant typal build and used oko to support my creature type buffs!

Bittersweet. My LGS let me know that the Sunday prerelease they intended to fire ( that I was hoping to attend) may not fire due to running out of kits.

They normally get 8 players for Friday prerelease but tonight they had to turn people away after 36. Clearly magic players want in universe sets

Quiver update it still needs some finishing details, but I'm so happy with how this thing is looking (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

Do you intend to rebuy them further down the road? If so reserved list may continue to climb and might be harder to acquire. Personally I would look to sell cards in the $50 range that you’re not currently using as they are likely to be reprinted

My sketches are full of bad anatomy and other issues. Gotta get the idea down and test it before I spend 40-100+ hours sculpting references, photographing models, drawing, and painting.

I miss this as well. I feel like there is a lot less brewing with the increase of precons and “5 color legend that cares about this sets mechanic” commander.I miss the old days of finding a legend and spending hours to figure out what cards work and showing it off. Still happens but less frequently
