The first frame of the cutscene that plays after beating the final boss, Eigong, in Nine Sols. Eignong's portrait is in the lower left, and behind her is a tessellating root structure, with a glowing orb above it.
It took ~10 hours over the course of 3 streams, but we finally took her down. What an amazing fight, and what an incredible game. As someone that always chaffed against platformers and side scrollers, I can't think of a better way to learn and appreciate the genre.

When I saw that the Voronai Texture node could make noise that looks like opals, I knew I had to give this a shot. This uses the camera position/facing as a vector input, so they look fixed and 3d inside the gems.
