Finally deleted that other platform and I’m here for good. Why was that so hard to do?

Just got a call from GoDaddy, out of the blue because they found that I was overpaying for something in my account. To fix it, I still had to pay $400 out of pocket today. I felt like I was being strong armed, so I asked for more time and got attitude back. Is this normal? It felt ick.
