First Canicross event for Lola and I today ❤️🐾 Much fun was had! Cannot remember the last time I felt so much joy from running. 1st event of a 3 race series, cant wait for the next one 😀

Currently debating whether that's a good idea or not 😅 Hope so!

Favourite 4 from November ❤️ A month of Highlands, Hebrides and Lake District. Taking some time away from normality has been hugely beneficial in so many ways, back home tomorrow and feeling excited to see family and friends 🥰

Having a few days away in the north. Not doing what I hoped to be doing as feeling incredibly fatigued, physically and mentally. Instead am doing a lot of chilling and just being. And what a great place to do that. A steady walk, dinner at The Lion Inn and watch the dog watching the sun go down ❤️

First attempt at plum jam this evening as our plum tree is absolutely laden. Probably cooked for a little too long as it has slightly caramelised but it tastes ok (if you like your jam with a slight smoky toffee apple taste) 😆 Looking forward to another attempt ...

A few years ago I would have strongly agreed with you but after 27 years of living in Northampton I know I have picked up some language similar to this 🤣😭. I am a bit more chilled about it now than I was, language evolves. I don't like it though

Yes, it'll be 3 months tomorrow, I feel quite drained

Feeling sad tonight. My 2nd DNF of the year. The first one I understood, 73 miles into the LDWA 100, a couple of weeks after my mum passed away. But today, not even halfway into 37 miles of Isaac's Tea Trail, I just couldn't find the mental strength to continue. Lovely route tho'

100th parkrun venue visited today with a little trip to the beautiful Black Rocks parkrun in Derbyshire ✔️😁

Whitby to Pickering yesterday on the Charm Braclet Trail Events Eight Stations Ultra. 30 miles following the North York Moors railway. Tough going on such a warm day 😅
