I have to admit, the algebraic approach felt easy, and creating the tape diagrams on this one felt like getting a phd in mathematics, which is odd, it is usually the other way around for some reason. What did you find?
This year, I plan to break 1,000 miles for the year. Happy New Year to you and yours.
What is this magic, Sam?
Good morning, happy mathing
I feel the same way in pretty much any company these days.
I am wondering if anyone has some resources to share around data science, introductory statistics, or large data sets?
Jokes on you I just tilted my phone.
Thank you my friend. Here's to seeing beauty in many places
Congrats! Get those miles in.
Good morning world. I took a moment to pause on my run this morning. Such awe inspiring scenes of gratitude when you look for them in the bustle of life.
This was fun. First, I tried it with 1:4 bananas meaning to the total, but that yields a non-realistic solution, so then grammar taught me to try bananas to cherries. I love how tape diagrams, like number lines, force me to think pictorially and I feel I connect deeper with the problem.

That's college kids.geez
Student quote of the week so far...I asked, "have you ever had a class like this?"
A few moments go by and a kid says, "No, because when you ask a question you want us to actually answer."
How did these colleges students make it this far and this is their first encounter. Better late than never.
Thank you..I had not heard that word used in that manner.
Help me connect what does co-signed mean...other than you just guaranteed I'd get that loan finally.
βMathematics is the queen of the sciences and number theory is the queen of mathematics.β -Carl Gauss.
I have to admit, number theory may be, if not my favorite, a close second favorite area of mathematical study. Any one else find they are agreeing with Gauss out there?
Ahh that's also an issue.
Does it feel like, you're the expert you tell me?
Knowing these are barriers, how does that inform the supporting work we do?
What might the motivation masking these shortcomings?
What is mathematical fluency? When you think about what a student who is mathematical fluent, what characteristics come to mind.
