Fortnite Developer Rules Please read the Fortnite Developer Rules. The rules outline the appropriate ways to create, promote, and monetize your Fortnite creations.

Starting March 11, developers breaking this rule will face escalating penalties, including impacts to monetization, island removal, and account suspension.

Weโ€™ll also be rolling out new automated tooling in the coming weeks to prevent spam islands from being published.

In the future, the functionality currently provided by 'fort_item_pickup_component' will be exposed as separate, modular Scene Graph components.

If youโ€™re using the 'fort_item_pickup_component' in an experimental project you can replace it with an 'interactable_component' subclass. A tutorial showing how to do this will be included in the v39.30 patch notes.
