Listen, apart from maybe some marketing hype, it doesn't actually mean anything that a bunch of weirdo AI execs might think that their LLM is conscious.
We've seen how they treat other humans, who are *irrefutably* conscious.

Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World. This “Show” is just a “slap in the face” to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History! There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD — And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new Kickoff Rule. I am curious. I work in creative code. I teach. I see a gap between your experience before / after LLMs. Imagine you are a student. You have never coded. How do you evaluate your LLM code? Against what? I feel proponents ignore their own learning curve. How do u edit if u don’t understand?

This is an excellent analogy, because my recollection from grade school is that the pen on the right looks fun and exciting, and then you play with it for a few minutes and realize it's not actually useful for anything and in fact makes some tasks more cumbersome, and never think about it again.
Also the subtext here is hilarious: it’s clear these AI bros know that they have yet to do much that would be described as ‘useful’ with gAI, and they’re terrified that people will notice
