Writing too. Then you reread a passage and realize you used "door" seventeen times and reset the scene outside.

I was editing a short story ahead of a submission deadline this weekend and every time I got to the end I burst into tears. I've read it 100 times by now! I know the characters aren't real and I'M the one putting the words in their mouths. But damn, are they sweet.

It is interesting to see where people's breaking points are.
