It’s almost tradition, through every strong movement in human history, that transition came from discerning youth who were willing to seize the pen from their older counterparts and begin writing a new chapter.
Every so often I come back here hoping it’s caught up enough to the point that Twitter isn’t necessary for the kind of discovery of quality discourse or integrity rich information sharing, and the occasional Knicks hype that I know and love.

There are enough threats to the fabric of reality as people know it in the United States by the current administration that if the opposing parties/forces don’t start solving these issues, I believe they will lose the faith of the people for another decade at least.
We used to be a proper country that appreciated beautiful things
To whatever degree you can, enjoy the day.
Play the favorite song, eat the favorite food, do the things that make you feel very good and feel joyful.
Some people would rather see you lose than to win themselves. Don’t be delusional about the diversity of people’s motives.
Who cares for these performance acts?

I’ve never seen a collective of power be rendered so desperately useless and meaningless than during these past few months.
Whether it’s the judiciary and their unwillingness to call out unconstitutional acts or the legislature of this country that’s unwilling to enforce accountability.
Useless.
With this vote, Congress makes ICE the highest-funded federal law enforcement agency in history, with more money per year at its disposal over the next four years than the budgets of the FBI, DEA, ATF, US Marshals, and Bureau of Prisons combined.

Clarity will always cost something.
This doesn’t change because you’re worth more or are a brand with more resources to deploy at your leisure.
Clarity costs, and today we’re trying to convince people otherwise which is why more people are confused over the simplest things.
The most dangerous thing about greed is how it blinds you to the most important differences in life.

I don’t know if we’ve seen an easier story to tell that could win over the support of the American people.
If we walk out our trains of thoughts more, we’d realize just how foolish a lot of our anxious moments are.
9/10 the pressure, the fears, the apprehension, all of it can be traced to a single point that once identified, loses all power.
“Prime, but with human beings” might just be one of the most soulless things I’ve ever heard.
The moral depravity in this country is astonishing.
Fear has a way of being contagious.
But courage is also contagious.
It is grossly unamerican to cede moral authority to those who have the most money or influence.
Our country was founded on the belief that power begins with the people, authority is delegated by the governed, and that government exists to serve the people, not rule them.
A lot of critics called the film a failure but kids who played the game were in theaters calling out different characters and people unfamiliar with the game found joy in the comedy.
An example of critics needing to keep the context of the film in mind when applying their criticism.

What an amazing opportunity for university leadership to stand up and show their students the values and principles that they claim to uphold, encourage and stand on.
It’s a shame that so many are choosing to forgo that opportunity instead out of convenience or selfish concerns.
