Republicans aren't pushing the SAVE Act because they care about voting fraud—after all, getting struck by lightning is more likely than finding a non-citizen voting in our elections. They're not pushing it to improve Americans' lives—it'll make them harder by making it harder for everyone to vote.
When we attacked Iran, it was entirely predictable that they’d attack our regional partners and the hundreds of thousands of Americans who live there. The failure of Trump, Hegseth, and Rubio to foresee that and protect our citizens is a dangerous embarrassment.
