All photos posted were shot by me, usually very recently - I'm trying to make photography a habit again. Usually using a Pentax K-1 or a Fuji X-Pro2. (Sorry about the politics crap I frequently feel compelled to react to.)
Interesting, the percussive rattling etc is a feature not a bug. Also, from wikipedia: "A live wolf was used in some concerts for the 1978 tour" ..!
This has led me to also discover the "Array Mbira" which I have added to the long list of instruments I must resist obtaining.

Some sort of tongue drum? They're quite satisfying, and playing with mallets must be a bit better for the joints - easy to overdo it on the handpan.
The African instrument I'm most keen on getting is a kora, but I've managed to resist it so far. An electric version, the "Gravikord", looks great fun

The unique thing in this case is that (AIUI) the PanArt people don't want anyone else to make them commercially but they also refuse to make them in sufficient quantity themselves for.. ideological reasons? 🤷
Definitely not my invention! This is a handpan, and it is indeed kinda an inside-out steel drum.
They were popular a few years back, I got mine when they stopped being cool because I myself am not either. There's an interesting situation with their copyright/legal position (not a common sentence!)

So, yes, geese are super-easy mode for bird #photography but they're hard to ignore.
In the good old days they would have needed to make up some sort of bullshit "dossier" and/or pretend to know secret stuff they can't tell you.
Now it's just "🤷"
If it's Stellaris, it's like playing for the first time and being kinda dimly aware there's a "crisis" coming, but how bad could that be really? Let's just keep subjugating our weaker neighbours with our 50K fleets and not think about the crisis.
