The amount of research I do on Mastodon when someone requests to follow me makes me question the use of my precious time.
I'm saying that in many cases, these questionnaires are created by nontechnical people and the documented risks - or lack thereof - can be misleading and create false confidence in a solution. I've seen it in too many places.
Not everyone in cyber has a tech background, which is problematic.

The alternative is hiring technically knowledgeable people that know the tech and how risk works, then trusting them and getting the job done.
