Success! For Christmas this year, I got React Native Skia working on macOS!
Along the way I learned quite a bit about Shaders, WebGPU, and just how extensively Skia is used. It's such an interesting space! I'm glad there are still new things to learn in UI dev 😎

I don’t have any hard proof, but here’s what I’ve noticed: the more I contribute to the community—whether it’s through tutorials, blog posts, pull requests, or sharing helpful solutions—the more I seem to gain in my own career, from better job opportunities to higher salaries and beyond.

7 years ago, I was at the point where I didn't enjoy the work I had. I started my open-source project shorturl.at/0RLrH, which allowed me
- switch tech stack and find a new job
- increase my salary
- get freelance work
- build Upwork profile
- join a US company which was another level of income

I knew you from the twitter. I was React Native developer at the moment. Only when I pivot to the web I go and directly buy your course. It might look like direct from analytics, but actually it was other people I follow recommendations.

So it’s compatible with Cursor. I’m hooked.
