Dinner last night was a great NY strip (we splurged on a prime, custom-cut steak as part of our anniversary dinners😄) pan-seared to a perfect med rare w/ sautéed onions, roasted potatoes, steamed broccoli w/sautéed mushrooms, salad &avocado. Anniversary is over. Tonight is chicken😏

Our anniversary! Hubs asked if I wanted to go out for dinner or have some big lobsters and champagne at home. Lobsters please! Two 2 1/2 lb guests of honor… and I did honor them before I put them in the pot. Steamed to perfection with just butter and lemon on the side. They were crazy delicious

My playful version of a Cobb salad; Gruyere cheese, pomegranate seeds, onion, cucumber, tomato, bacon, chicken, black olives, carrots. Homemade vinaigrette, sour dough bread and plenty of of extras on the side. It was fun, pretty and delicious

Lamb kebabs w/onion, mushrooms & red peppers plus the usual salad. The loaf of Asiago cheese bread was still in the oven.😏 Mint jelly is the ONLY time I have HFCS in our house; you can’t find mint jelly without it and I soooo love it with lamb. (I’m a WASP and we don’t always have refined tastes😆)

Pan seared legs then roasted in oven for crispy skin, spinach and feta phyllo pie plus salad with avocado. We do eat well.
