In terms of what cures are being lost:
- Epstein-Barr virus is perhaps the major trigger for multiple sclerosis
- herpes simplex virus causes cold sores, genital herpes, infections in babies, deadly meningitis
- shingles virus causes an intensely painful disease
So incredibly f’d up that the family of a famous and successful actor has to use go fund me in order to survive because of medical expenses.
I completely agree about clearing the sidewalks. I will add that buying some of those ice cleats that strap onto your shoes/boots have been a life saver for me having to walk my dog in a neighborhood where some of the sidewalks are clear, but some aren't.
One thing luxury thing I budget for monthly is house cleaning. I have a small townhome and pay $180, not sure how he is getting house cleaning for $80!
After decades of diet culture consuming me and not eating cereal, I recently starting eating it again. Man, is it good and convenient and can be healthy!

Agree. Although an ambulance got stuck last night in my neighborhood because the roads still hadn’t been cleared at that point. Still dangerous not having emergency access to residences. Luckily after that they sent the large front loader to scrap the roads since regular plows couldn’t move it.
Road still has not seen a salt or plow truck from VDOT at the top of our neighborhood. They tried to come earlier but could not make it with the ice on our hill into the neighborhood. Did I mention that it’s the only way in and out?
That happened to me too, it's the worst! I shoveled to the road and ended up having 7 feet of plowed berm to get rid of cause they went straight down the middle.
Recommend using a regular shovel, if you have one or could borrow one, to break up the ice crust and then use your snow shovel. Also tip from Ohio transplant, shovel during the storm instead of waiting til the end especially when there is sleet involved and cold temps. Good luck!
Pantops neighborhood. No plows ever made it last night or today so far. Glad I have snow cleats and shoveled my sidewalk and driveway last night!
Made the mistake of not shoveling during the sleet. That was quite a workout but glad I did it before the freezing rain just started.

If anyone is still in need of milk, bread, and eggs for french toast the food lion on pantops has some! They also had a lot of other groceries and a lot of shelves were getting restocked when I was there at lunch time.
