Physical games have more barriers. Rules. Materials. Manufacturing. Player count. Marketing. Inventory and storage.
People dont play physical games on the computer*. They have to disconnect first, know about the game, buy it, find players, make time, have space, etc!

Really the issue isn't making games. It's getting them out there.
It's easier for video games. You can post videos and images. Players can learn about, purchase, download and play VGs all on the same platform within a few minutes
VGs can be bought and played on an impulse and with only one player!

For all my poo pooing of VTTs to run TTRPGs, I do appreciate what tech can do for the game table experience.
That's why I made this sick ass Saturday Morning Pizza Lizards stream screen for playtesting. It's sensory overload, vaguely insulting, and full of helpful reference info!

Swords of Order is played on 8x8 tiled maps. Each adventure is played across a set of these maps with terrain placed on top.
This makes the game easy to set up and lets players quickly make short and sweet arena maps or huge sprawling dungeons.
You can even play on a chess board with chess pieces!
