So, the doctor said there are signs of healing, so I can start to put more weight on the foot with the broken ankle.

But by the next appointment in 4 weeks, I should hopefully be able to get rid of the crutches and maybe the boot! That'll be a relief!

Do you know what a win jar is?

It's a jar (or folder etc.) where you keep a record of your wins. When you have a win, big or small, write it down & put it in the jar.

You know, I thought I wasn't a big fan of historical fiction, but I was wrong. Apparently, as long as the world-building is done right, I'm happy.

So, any suggestions? Of course, there's got to be mystery, weirdness, or action-adventure in the story.

This is so true. I love local bookstores. I'm one of those people that just love the feel and smell of books. Being surrounded by so many stories is a magic all of its own. But, hey, I am a bit weird!

Slaughterhouse-five is definitely one of my favorites too!

This was one of my favorite books when I was younger. I was also really into the Cure, who wrote a song about it. Yep, had a really existential phase there for a while. The book definitely influenced me!
