Oh man, that sucks!
Thats such a shame.
Rumours that Trump was kept busy on his last visit by being asked to sit in the corner remain unconfirmed.
Britain has the best shaped building.
It also attracts American assets too.
Behold, The Doughnut! ๐คฃ
If AI ever does become aware and seek revenge, it'll because one of the first jobs we gave it was web development! ๐ฌ
I don't think so. It's an MX carrier delivering a missile to a silo. It wouldn't make sense if it was the other way up.
When Trump mentions Winston Churchill, I can imagine that this would be the response from the elder statesman. ๐คฃ
Someone offered to buy me a coffee at an event where the coffee is free.
Not the most impressive sales approach! ๐คฃ๐คฃ
I like the US Trailers but Alan Cumming is very annoying and it doesn't meet the British versions level of pure meanness! ๐
One of our middle east data centres had "problems" today.
I used to get something similar when I worked for a newspaper. If we didn't have photos up within seconds of an incident, there was always someone grumbling that we'd been hit with a D notice.
We were not served a single D notice in the time I worked there and photo feeds remained slow.
Just remember, that other people's opinions are none of your business and their judgements are always wrong.
No one but you knows your journey so no one is in a position to tell you anything about you.
You're great; just remember that. And you'll find your perfect partner sooner than you realise.
I had an interesting conversation with a recruiter last week.
When I said that many CISOs aren't really Chief Information Security Officers, but Chief Cyber Security Officers, he said:
"I completely agree. About 60% of CISOs I come across know only about cyber security"
Ouch.
I'm confused...
Was this one of the wars he stopped? ๐
I love the positivity of this thought.
We all go through dark and difficult times, but being able to understand that they don't last forever and that you can move on safe in the knowledge that you've learnt from your experiences is the key.
As a security professional, I love it when you watch lifestyles of the rich and famous programs on TV, they talk about how good their security is, and you spot a dozen ways you could bypass it with a couple of lengths of wire and a small toolkit.
It's never easy to say goodbye to someone who has helped you to improve your life in your positive way.
Sorry for your loss.
Has anyone got a charger for an Ericsson 318?
Kids today will never know the struggle!
And I bet that they can't cross a cattle grid at speed!
Unpopular opinion time:
If a CISO can't pick a vehicle protection bollard, write a wiring standard, quote data protection clauses and tell whether a door meets security standards, aren't they really a Chief Cyber Security Officer instead?
The secret to business is picking experts who can be trusted to make a business fly.
However, picking experts is the hard part and picking incorrectly is where most businesses fail.
LinkedIn keeps sending me jobs for legal positions.
I don't know whether to be offended or not....
Traditionally, if monarchs failed to act in the interests of the people, they were removed from power.
So the King has the ultimate veto power, but rarely uses it, as He trusts His government, legal professional and armed forces to act in the best interests of the people, not the few
For all those non-Brits who don't understand how British democracy works:
The Kings is above the law, as he signs proposed laws into statute (making them a law). Everyone answers to the law as failing to do so means that the legal system, who answers to the King, would be disobeying Him.
