Like Scooby-Doo, this was a lot of kids' gateway to "apparently supernatural stuff which always turns out to be a guy looking for money."
Which informs my politics to this day.

A bag of Dunkin' branded jelly-beans.
My continuing mission to seek out new jelly beans.
These can't possibly be bad, right? I didn't but the coffee-flavored ones.
At least he's being open about the American people being "the enemy."
Racist, bigoted shitbag that he is.
This is really quite exciting and unexpected and a very weird feeling.
My little story that could.

Worked in 1816.
The Egyptian sun-god Ra, illustrated in the Egyptian style. He is a human figure with the head of a falcon, a huge disk on his head, wrapped by a cobra, a staff in one hand, and ankh in the other.
Complaining about winter is tired and passive.
Offering prayers to your preferred solar deity, is active, and has, in the history of the world, had worked 99% of the time.
Ra, please do not forget us. We, your faithful, are cold and long for the warm rays of your solar barque.
In the foreground, facing the viewer, is Godzilla, a titanic nuclear-powered dinosaur, his eyes yellow, his mouth open and teeth sharp. He is covered in snow. In the background, it is snowing.

That femefter I fpend ftudying Old English is finally paying off!
ABIGAIL is one of those lovely vampire films that doesn't get enough attention.
It starts out as an abduction/heist/crime film, but they have definitely abducted the wrong child. The plot unfolds at a good pace, and has interesting reveals, and definitely isn't afraid to get bloody. A fun time.
The Supreme Court has struck down Trump's tariffs.
Will we receive a refund, since they were *always* illegal?
I hit 42K on the WIP.
Go me!
Ah, Glock leg.

The cover of GHOSTS OF SMOKE AND FLAME by Richard Dansky. In the foreground, a young girl in a jean jacket stands, mostly in shadow, two angelic wings sprouting from her shoulders. Behind her, a house burns.
I got to read @rdansky.bsky.social GHOSTS OF SMOKE AND FLAME early, and now it'll be available on Thursday.
Dansky has done an impressive job of making an weird story emotionally compelling. It's worth your time.
From now on, I will be referring to DHS shooting off their loaned top secret laser over an active, civilian airport as "Operation 99 luftbalons."
Now, will he examine the reasons he followed Trump, or will he just renounce Trump and follow the next person who allows him to feel good about his racism?
Everything I needed to know about the Super Bowl:
I still don't know who won, but I know a whole lot about the symbolism in Bad Bunny's presentation.
This is exactly the sort of lie that domestic abusers say when they bring in battered wives or kids.
Oh, I feel that so very hard.
1200 words today, mostly man vs superchicken.
Man vs Superchicken is fun to write and I should clearly make it a quarter of this novel.
Each one is also necessarily unique.

I appreciate the way STARFLEET ACADEMY presents personal growth as an opportunity to look a situations differently, and offer new solutions.
Shiro, a grey cat, curled up on a green blanket, tailed tucked just under his nose. .
A gray cat, Shiro, his face and green eyes looking directly at the viewer, clawing at someone's shirt.
Shiro, a grey cat, lying on a blue blanket, asleep. His forepaws are crossed, head thrown back, looking utterly relaxed and oblivious to the world.
Shiro was most snuggly boy. He was patient, happy to be near you, and purred like an outboard motor.
He saw me through the death of my father and my mother. He was always there, whether my day was good or bad, he was happy to jump up on me and start purring.
I miss him so much already.

Very peaceful.
If you've got Bernie, it's a shame not to.
Sarah Palin confessed to slipping over the border for some free Canadian healthcare when she was young.
Wealth, and following that, a dueling pistol.
Joke will be on him. With 47 Republican congresscritters planning to retire, he'll face a Congress with a *vast* Democratic majority.
