You misunderstand. The tomatoes have not changed. It is merely a rebranding.

I see Big Chop has gotten to you, too.
Hmm. I have encountered severe pushback to my campaign to rename chopped tomatoes to scrambled tomatoes.
Our latest Kickstarter was just approved within minutes rather than the usual 3-5 business days...

I've had one of these (well two actually), too. Watch out!
More detail: folks receiving emails purporting to come from Backerkit claiming their password has been changed. It hasn't, and presumably the link in the email doesn't go anywhere good.
We talked briefly (spoiler free) about the final episode of Stranger Things on our TTRPG podcast.

We have a new podcast fan! He seems like a nice person.
Ad for a belt saying "The belt that's taking over the UK"
I do not believe that a belt can take over the UK.
Tell us your overdue crowdfunder story (via the survey link)! We're collecting details about overdue TTRPG crowdfunders via a survey and will be publishing an article about it early next year. Thanks!
Hey look, it's that time of year again! www.enworld.org/threads/nomi...
Here's our Dragonmeet after-action report! Spoilers: best show ever (for us). www.enworld.org/threads/this...
Morrus & Jess on the stand at Dragonmeet.
Dragonmeet was pretty awesome. We sold out of Split the Hoard (our first card game!)--easily our best Dragonmeet ever. Dunno if that was the new location in the ExCeL or just luck, but we're not complaining!
Also, Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, doesn't speak for Amazon. Just because Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, can't figure out how to write a new Bond film doesn't mean that Steven Knight, the actual writer of the new Bond film can't.
Yeah, I don't know what the problem is. They rebooted it with Craig. Just reboot again with the next guy. Don't even have to do an origin story. No need to explain it.
A few Halloween costume photos from last night! I was Captain Kirk, and was accompanied by my wife Count Duckula and friend Killer Bunny.
My dad, explaining AI to my mom: “It doesn’t think. It copies stuff wrong.”
As a news site publisher, I don't think that will work. That still leaves me with no incentive to write news articles. Nobody is reading or responding to my words. At that point I'm just admin staff for OpenAI working behind the scenes to feed in data.
Yep it’s a real problem. AI scrapes the websites and give you the info directly. The websites get no traffic. The websites go away. AI has nothing to scrape to answer your questions.
It’s just the old “I’ve been playing this game for 40 years, why is the marketing aimed at teenagers and not boomers?” nonsense. Missing the fact that they started playing… when they were teenagers. Things like D&D have always been marketed at kids, and that’s just fine.
50-year old men complaining that games marketed at them when they were kids are still marketed at kids just sound like giant babies. Grow up. Jeez.
We'll be going live in 10 minutes with this week's TTRPG news!

Yep, they’re “improving” the fees!
Gym emails me to say they are “improving my experience”. Guess what the “improvement” is?
Close call. We just paid tariffs for our latest shipment to arrive in the US this week. Squeaked in just before they rocketted up again…
Yeah, we went from a corridor to a hotel conference room to a hotel ballroom to the (current) Union Station venue. That first year was kinda crazy, a slapdash affair organised by a couple of fans. I had piles of books in my living room which I had to mail out to judges around the world.
We did that in 2001 because we conceived of them as a fan award not an industry award. It was *tiny*. I’m not involved with them now so I can’t speak to the current setup.
I would say that the goal of the ENnies is probably different to what it was in 2001, as is the size and scope of the TTRPG industry (the first ceremony was held in a corridor!) And along with that, the ENnies’ responsibilities have changed.
