i love how everyone is just perfectly comfortable asserting as truth what is ultimately a conspiracy theory without a shred of substantive evidence to support it, particularly when it has jews at the center of it.

A big part of the problem is that Labour MPs who aren't aggressively transphobic simply point-blank refuse to acknowledge at all that the government has been actively attacking trans people. This just continues that.
Weak intervention by Thornberry. Totally underestimates the scale of Labour's transphobia problem.
It's always him!
This appalling fat cat wants to shut the door on all my mature students, many of whom left school after GCSE and give up a lot to go to university. I can tell him that theyβre the hungriest for education and far from being unable to graduate, they regularly get the highest grades. Hateful man.
It's gotta be a gender thing, right? An association with feminine service work and the public sector (which is necessarily always effeminate and decadent)?
I was pretty sure all along that the oppositional forces of blue labour were disenfranchised millennials. Not even sure where this idea of middle-class professionals comes from... just a weird prejudice from the most cloistered part of our society?
Honestly, I can't say I've ever seen that a-levels tell universities much that is useful for admissions purposes. They're not good prep for university study. If I were running a university, I think I'd just make every student do a foundation year and ignore a-levels entirely.
It's not totally irrelevant but it is also like trying to evaluate a hospital based entirely on how well it treats a sprained ankle.
It doesn't actually matter that LLMs can output code and it sometimes works. LLMs were not invented as a programming aid. The scope is much bigger than that so whether they can produce code isn't a large part of evaluating their overall value.
also telling how their reaction to reform leapfrogging them was notably different to the greens doing the same. the former was caused by "genuine concerns", the latter is "sectarianism" and "divisive politics"
they don't want to beat reform, they want to be reform
Not to be THAT feminist, but I knew this was the case before opening the article. Men see fatherhood as an abstract milestone that's a proof of their virility, women see the associated costs.
Not to mention that women not being locked into domesticity is the core of the antifeminist backlash today.
Do you reckon the burden of child rearing disproportionately falls on women, and this might affect their willingness to have kids? What a novel insight.
Yay! Outlook won't work! Freedom!
I cannot wait for the insights on this! He's going to:
1. Sample some local street food.
2. Ride a train.
3. Visit a temple.
4. Not mention the pogroms that the serving Prime Minister presided over.
5. Smile at some elephants.
6. Top up his kids' private school fees.
7. Say "India is changing".
So let's look at the rhetorical similarity with a transphobic canard used by GC ideologues, "We're all non-binary".
It's a bit rooted in truth, but it's deployed to say that deviation that is not "extreme enough" is meaningless. Effectively, it insists on a rigid medicalized diagnostic criteria.
Always!
TL;DR Labour's policies:
π¨Increase use of irregular routes
π¨Increase human trafficking
π¨Increase number of people forced to be undocumented
π¨Force people into deprivation
π¨Leave, particularly women and children, at risk
π¨Cost more than current policies
π¨Violate international law

and for the record, my ~extreme~ content is outdoor sex tapes and telling consenting adults how to enjoy poppers safely in the comfort of their own homes. you would not believe how mild the content we are not allowed to sell can be!
Barely slept. Really not in the mood for builders to be here today. Don't think I'll be able to get much work done but won't be able to do much else either.
That sounds reasonable. I'm not in the US, so it is entirely a guess but I suspect related patterns of activity would come up in a sub-analysis of a larger study on friendship and socialising but friendship is a somewhat understudied phenomenon.
And then changes to the function of dating would need to be considered. E.g., are there now different ways to meet and spend time with potential romantic partners that don't count as dating but perform same function? Particularly important when considering cishet people and gender relations.
And one would have rule out changes in what people mean by 'dating' as a potential cause for a change, even once comparator data is found. Questions like 'Are you dating?' are just really not good social science interview or survey questions.
Gave a speech he hadn't read, sends letters he doesn't read, hires people he believes despite a history of lying. Keir Starmer's entire defence since he got in to power is 'I'm shit at everything, it's not my fault'
Here's the latest attempt to erase Palestine from history.

I was wrong, I used a good amount of absinthe.
In the foreground, a martini glass on a white countertop. The glass contains a very pale, cloudy yellow liquid. In the background, large green curtains against white walls. Additionally, the wall has a painting of an art deco bar, primarily in reds and oranges.
First attempt at a corpse reviver no. 2. I suspect I used a touch too much absinthe but we'll see.
Less than 2 months ago EU leaders were insisting on strategic independence from an increasingly aggressive US demanding territorial expansion in Greenland. Now, they're tripping over their heels to join that US in an illegal war of aggression and regime change. What weak cowards with short memories.
The Guardian has a strategic partnership with OpenAI so nothing it says about AI can be trusted
"women are defined by heterosexuality and reproduction" is what practically the entire history of feminism has fought against, actually.
This is just a patriarchal propagandist framing her regressive beliefs as a righteous crusade.
