Never too old for shoes to be a hobby!!
Got a workout in today on the StairMaster. 62 floors.
I'll be ready for March 22.
About 5 weeks until Big Climb Seattle!
Would love to have more folks join Team Sunrise and/or donate to the cause: pages.lls.org/bigclimb/wa/...
Honoring my Big Sis, Evie.
Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.
My Big Sis would be so dang thrilled right now. I miss her every day, but especially on game days. She absolutely loved our Seattle teams.
Woohoo!!!!
Time for a celebratory root beer!!
Anybody interested in two free tickets to UW Ice Hockey tonight?
KCI, 8 PM, two general admission tickets.
Free.
Today would have been my Big Sis's birthday. For thos of you that knew Evvy (on that other app)
, she was one of my heroes. I climb the Columbia Center every year for the Big Climb in her honor.
Care to donate to the cause, to support Team Sunrise? pages.lls.org/bigclimb/wa/...
Thanks.
First UW Men's hoops game in a couple seasons. Let's go!
That could be turned into a cool tattoo!
Let's go Kraken!!!

Day 1 of training and fundraising for Big Climb 2026!
I'm climbing for my Big Sis, Evie. This will be year 3. Hoping to increase awareness and impact this year.

Or donate blood. All of that helps. Thx.
Yes!!!!
INCREDIBLE!!!
Thank you so much for donating. I am humbled and truly grateful.
I am so grateful that you shared this today. I just sent a screenshot to my sister, and my brother-in-law. We have a text thread going that is about 50% about Evie, 45% sports, and 5% everything else.
Evie's legacy lives on in those of us that were lucky enough to know her.
Thank you.
Alright, it's happening! I think sign-ups started in May or so for the September event. Thanks!
This is AMAZING! Thank you for sharing. For me, it's about so much more than money. It's about memories, and human connection.
Thanks for reaching out, and sharing about Evie. I am grateful for folks on here and the bird app that knew her.
YES!!!! Let me know if you're going to do it next year. I know you have folks you climb for...but if you want to join Team Sunrise, I'd be happy to have you as part of the team. It's definitely easier than Big Climb. And really cool to get to the top.
Thanks, Sharon. This is such a cool event, too. Similar to Big Climb. And iconic, with the Space Needle!
Hope you're doing well.
And one FREE way to support cancer patients is to donate blood at your local blood bank. I'm on a specific medication that prevents me from donating. But it's so important.
Well, I did a thing. Had foot surgery in July and wasn't sure I'd be able to make it. But my foot's starting to get better, so I did Base2 Space to honor my Big Sis, and raise money for Fred Hutch.
Donations are open for another few weeks if you want to support. Thx.

Ah, dang. I did'nt see this until it's too late.
What a fantastic day! Hope you had a good climb.
@lynned444.bsky.social !!!
I can take 1000 pictures a day of The Mountain and it won't be enough.
@magicblaker.bsky.social That's special. I love that.
The Naches Peak loop is my favorite hike in the world. Memories of my dad, too, Blake.
Yeah, I love that sound effect, too. That's another one that gets me weird looks.
And the "mooooo" for down on the farm.
It's my number 1 podcast. Instantly to the top of my playlist whenever a new episode drops.
Yep. I feel like just listening to a conversation about hockey. And love it when the conversations go off the rails, too. Lots of laughter.
I get weird looks at the gym, though, when I scream out "Goalie Gear Corrnnneerrrrr!" while listening to the pod on the Stairmaster. Hehehe.
And sadly, this means I have to miss another Sound of Hockey Fest that day, too.
Next year on that, too!
