Final comic for my InkyGoodness class.

Ohhh yeah, sometimes I’ll throw out an early “my base rate starts at…” and “will adjust based on your needs.” In order to see how serious they are. If they’re still interested after seeing my rates then I’ll do a call.

If I’m doing a project at a flat rate, then I build my pricing with the expectation that meetings could happen. Some of my clients are just better at giving feedback on the phone and struggle to write it in an email.
