Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS5)
We need some more love for these 3 drastically different photos
I have never seen a capture like the first one, I love it 😂 (we've all had those types of moments with our horse in Red Dead)
The third is a perfect wildlife shot, the soft focus is perfect
But my favourite is definitely the second 😍
I recently captured a shot in Cyberpunk, used a tilt, but after I was about to edit it...I realised it looked awful! Just way too much tilt.
Luckily, I had taken a few shots at the same location without tilts (which goes back to one of my other tips about taking multiple shots!)
Tbf, I really need to get around to watching some basics of photography videos, even after all this time in VP (And taking IRL shots sometimes) 😂
Tilts/angles can drastically transform some captures, they're so good...IF you don't use them all the time, or too much of an angle
I think messing up captures or edits is what I've learned most from. Sometimes you don't know what works well until you know what doesn't work
I've tried some weird captures and edits, a lot of them never even got uploaded, but I always learnt from them...and now and again you'll find a gem!
Experimenting is a great one! Try random stuff, if it doesn't work, that's ok, try something else
I also think alongside experimenting, understand what you're already good at, and trying to improve that one area too, maybe make it your signature style, and then you can experiment with side projects

Some of the best shots for me have been ones where I've just flown the camera around in random spots, even in weird places, different angles and distances.
Sometimes you'll find a different type of shot that just clicks, maybe a setting/style you hadn't used before

It's sometimes hard NOT to focus on numbers, but I totally agree, doing what you love, because you like it, or something has inspired you...that's the fun part
