My usual excitement around the treatment advancements showcased at ASCO and similar is slowly being replaced by utter sadness that growing numbers of cancer patients in Ireland won't benefit due to growing inequalities in access. Where you live and ability to pay should never decide your faith ๐

Plez get yrly dilated eye exams. Mine was found during a routine exam ,3wks later my right eye was gone. Iโve been a one eyed bandit now for 7yrs, itโs not fun altho I laugh at myself a lot ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
Only 6inamillion a yr are dx with it, itโs a rare cancer

The issue is that not all low risk determinations are equal. A screening protocol should take into account the tests used to determine low risk. In some countries, there is no genetic/RNA testing only the less valid staging based on physical characteristics of the primary tumour.
