The worst part about being sick while also being chronically ill, for me, is not the exacerbation of inflammatory symptoms (which does suck), but adding more medicine to my already overwhelming amount of medicine.
Maybe we could collab on something sometime
Does anyone else want to nonstop eat and drink when they're sick just to have some sensation that isn't sick and some taste in their mouth that isn't awful?
My mom says I'm lying about it all. I have a memoir in verse started and I can't wait to let it into the world. But I gave up trying to have my voice heard by her.
Big hugs to both of us. Spending a life wishing for a version of mother that just wasn't possible is awful.
My therapist is awesome, so I've done (am doing) the work. I just wish I could write freely about it and not hide things so she doesn't see them until she's gone.
I hate that I understand every word of your writing so well. That I've lived so many of these moments. And this may seem a horrid thing to say to some, but in some ways, I envy that you're at a place where it's in the past.
I did it. Even with the plague.
I just can't with people. They are intolerable.
One can hope, but I won't hold my breath
My constant wheezing sounds like the world's tiniest motorbike is driving in my airways.
