Ugh!!! Flashbacks to the COD father!!! He destroyed a good friendβs PhD effort (trying to untangle the data corruption was impossible) so cringe!

We are star stuff, a galaxy of atoms and molecules born in the heart of stellar furnaces!
Man I love this!!!!
I do love the rotunda area of the RI Statehouse⦠architecturally, and artistically
At RI Statehouse for a different bill, but right repair bill being introduced (RI SB 2487) I nearly bit through my tongue trying to stay silent while John Deer, Xerox and Caterpillar reps all misrepresented and even, arguably, lied to the Committee.
Every dang day, every project I start. It is at times crippling, but it is always there⦠a mind gremlin.
In my area we are fortunate to have two amazing theater/arts centers - The Garde Arts center (100yrs old!) and the United (90yrs old?) just saw Kebβ Moβ at the Garde - when he played This is My Home? Tears! then Put a Woman in Charge? So many cheers!!! Thank you Kebβ Moβ!!! youtu.be/9Irip5pIRb4?...
Luna (our precious female feline) is so funnyβ¦ she started stealing nibbles of cheese from me. Became part of our nightly βdateβ. Turns out she does NOT like GruyΓ¨re. She likes Colby jack, Loves Vermont cheddars both sharp and mild, but her favorite is Vermont cheddar aged 5yrs (also most $$$)
I think I may be going insane. I keep bouncing from metal covers of 70s & 80s rock (Γ la Frog Leap Studios) to Scottish Irish English folk songs to Trombone Shorty & Jon Batiste doing New Orleans. I mean I love all those styles but all back to back?canβt avoid it so might as well enjoy the ride!
Certainly no Meso-American reef, but man they had a blast. Several
People on my street (a relatively busy one) hadnβt cleared sidewalk yet so we had to cross country through this stuff as deep as Mac! (2.5β BEFORE plow drifts)
Oh Meso American reef and mangrove cages of Belize - I miss you so! Rescue me from this wintry hellscape if even just for a moment in my most fond memories of your wildlife, land- (and sea-) scapes and the amazing people (especially the Garifuna culture) and food.
What could possibly go wrong I mean Pete and co are such smart, careful, deliberate, ethical peopleβ¦. With no axes to grind, narcissism or inferiority complexes or anything right???
That escalated quickly but nicely.
Mac decided to join Oreo on the bed. As long as Mac doesnβt get to insistent on play or to rough when they do, he and Oreo get along very well.
Oreo has the right idea. Got driveway cleared (30-33inches of snow) now have a drive βcanyonβ so partner can get to work tomorrow. She and I both hope she gets this new job up in Boston (remote). Then we can both work from home and snow storms be danged!
That is a standard 5β chain link fence at the bottom. This was taken about 2hours agoβ¦ weβre at 32.5β an hour ago and still coming down around Β½-1β per hour
Dang man, I mean just because they are in the name??? lol!
About 8hour (halfway) through the heavy part of storm and from what I was able to measure looks like 12-13β so far. This one is wet and wind is howling. Lots of drifting. Made 3 measurements where no obvious scouring or drifting. 12.25, 11.75, 13.75 supposed to finally end around 4-5pm today.
This girl, and especially this photo of her (when she herself is in hiding) are doing a lot to keep me sane this year!
Break in the weather and temps have construction going till late tonight to catch up on their schedule (obviously planned using only recent years winter weather trendsβ¦) Hopefully they will pack up before 10pm
Partners in crime.
Ball play area on the patio. Where Grace is itβs about 7-8β deep packed snow. Ramos out and down over 4β to bare concrete path from front door to driveway. Every night we play ball there for 10-15 minutes while Mac explores. She loves flipping the ball so it rolls down the ramp to my feet.
Walks are βinterestingβ these days. Between people who donβt clear their sidewalks and trying to find an appropriate place to answer the call of nature in powdery 2β+ snowdriftsβ¦here walking down a snow canyon from Someone who did clear their walk. They did love the walk of course.
Time to play with the giant tennis ballβ¦ Mac learning to play some of Graceβs favorite games. Brings its own issues, but happy puppies over all.
Brisk winter morning pals. Itβs 12f outside and with wind below zeroβ¦ but these two are having a warm (both temperature and temperament) winter morning.
A nice fresh 7.1β of powdery snow on top of what was left of 18β (most of it since we have only had 1 day above 32-33f)
Kids just called me to tell me they just saw some of my video (mantis shrimp filmed underwater) on one of her favorite YouTube channels⦠crazy kids.
Itβs only THAT cold OUTSIDE Oreo! Drama catβ¦ being dramatic againβ¦
A puppy snow play break? Yes please!!!
Cleanse you timeline with Black Lab snow play? Yes please!
Ahhhh the joys of 13β of snow (wind caused significant drifting and scouring before the sleet put a crusty cap on top)
The view out our bathroom windowβ¦ the roof of the lower floor ballroom is 18β below the bottom edge of the window.
