I don't really want to ever be famous, but if it somehow happens, I definitely want to be famous enough to be able to compete on The Masked Singer

Game Stop and Fred Meyer don't have great organization, so it's hard to tell what's supposed to be on the shelf, but I didn't even see an empty spot for it at Walmart
I went to all three of my local stores (Game Stop, Walmart, and Fred Meyer) yesterday and not a single one had a physical copy

Becoming a U.S. citizen takes years and involves immigrants acquiring a green card, extensive interviews, background checks, classes and a citizenship test. The naturalization ceremony is the final step to the process, where the oath of allegiance and a citizenship certificate are granted. Immigrants approved to be naturalized went to Faneuil Hall Thursday - known as the country's cradle of liberty - for that long-awaited moment to pledge allegiance to the United States. But instead, as they lined up, some were told by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services officials that they couldn't proceed due to their countries of origin.

The worst, I was looking at ordering pajama pants from an online retailer's Black Friday sale, but it wasn't explicitly stated in the description that they had pockets and the pictures didn't show any either, so I did not order them
Yep, the worst part is that I live 50 miles from the nearest Best Buy and according to online support the only way I'm opening it without trying to break it open and risk damaging it, is to take it to Geek Squad to open it for me
Just got mine delivered from Best Buy, but it came like this...
As someone who works in sports medicine, it's always bothered me when I have to send someone off to the ER, whether by ambulance or with a parent, and in then expected to be able to just go back and have to be ready to take care of the next kid that tries to die while the game continues
โShe explained how much Covid could hurt her & how vulnerable it felt to be unable to wear a mask to protect herself.
She was a perfect example of why other people need to wear masks even if they donโt personally think Covid will hurt themโ

Started reading my great uncle's memoir who was a teenager in Germany during WW2 and so far in the first chapter he's punched 2 Nazis in the face
Watch for the errant flag throw that hits a player, stay for the Oscar-winning acting job.
QB punts are nice, but what I really need in my life is a QB drop kick
I had to work today, so couldn't make it to my local #NoKings event, but I'm working at an event where several hundred people will be walking through the parking lot, so I decorated my car windows instead.
Also too bad my windows don't come with spell check...
The image is a public health poster from NYC Health titled โPrevent Long COVID.โ It explains that the only way to prevent Long COVID is to avoid getting COVID-19, as each infection carries a risk. It lists prevention tips: Wear a well-fitting mask (N95, KN95, KF94) in crowded or poorly ventilated indoor spaces. Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations. Stay home if sick, or wear a mask if you must go out. Avoid close contact with sick people. Wash hands often or use hand sanitizer.

The best way to prevent Long COVID is to prevent getting COVID-19 or getting it multiple times. That means staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccines and wearing a well-fitting mask, especially when indoors among crowds.

The murders of Charlie Kirk and Minnesota state representative Melissa Hortman are part of a dangerous rise in political violence.
We cannot accept this as the norm.
We must do whatever we can to reduce the anger and hate that are consuming and destroying so much of the country.
NEW: The messages on the bullets are from a video game called Helldivers2. My latest: www.muellershewrote.com/p/new-the-me...
A lot of the more liberal people in my circles are rightly condemning the murder, but then going on to say how he was at least willing to debate, but everything I've ever seen from him is just him spouting bad faith arguments that can then be clipped for a pro-MAGA sound bite.
I saw a tiktok a while ago, so I don't think I could find it to post the link. It was a mom talking about how her child was telling people that they didn't have any food in the kitchen at home, but it turns out it was her play kitchen that didn't have any toy food

There has been a rush among centrists like Gavin Newsom and Ezra Klein to brush over the hateful life of Charlie Kirk and valorize the man.
Let me be clear, killing Charlie Kirk was wrong and abhorrent.
We must condemn murder without sanitizing a man who built his empire on hate.
My latest piece.
This is probably also from my white privilege, but the only situations I feel unsafe are when I see these kinds of people because in my mind they might be looking for an excuse to use their "God-given" right
Newsweek headline April 6, 2023: โCharlie Kirk Says Gun Deaths โUnfortunatelyโ Worth it to Keep 2nd Amendmentโ.
Mormon 4:5 โBut, behold, the judgments of God will overtake the wicked; and it is by the wicked that the wicked are punished; for it is the wicked that stir up the hearts of the children of men unto bloodshed.โ.

For everyone saying political violence has no place in this countryโฆ
Remember two Democratic legislators were shot in Minnesota just this year.
And America shrugged and moved on.
