This thing honestly looks like someone saw the Elio motors scam and was like "yeah, but can we have that please?" And then did it themselves.
So in these instances, we would flatten them back out and do our best to bend them into mostly a taco, which is a much easier shape to make, and then eat it outselves on our break later.
For clarification, when i worked at Culver's we would pre-make a few days worth of waffle cones at a time. You had a frustrstingly short amount of time to get the waffle off of the griddle and fold it into a cone, and if you messed it up, you didn't have time to fix it before it would harden stiff.
I feel like this is just a company finally deciding to officially market "the thing the employees always make for themselves when they fuck up making a waffle cone" for places where the cones are made on site, like Culvers.
