Yep. After they were invited to participate in a multi-national exercise with India...and the USN, which pulled out at the last minute, then sank the Iranian ship.

It's certainly a black mark on the honor of the US Navy.

Ugghhh...we have to head back to the U.S. for a biz event followed by a wake for my mom (who died in 2020 and never had any sort of service) and my dad. Do NOT want to go, for a lot of reasons. At least we got discount tickets for biz class, but still. Ugh.

The goal is Israel's: taking Iran out of the game. Iran is the only real counter to Israel in the region. Bibi wants to destabilize it, fracture it, make it a center of chaos, a corpse that every other country in the region (and the U.S., of course) can feed on. Trump's just along for the ride.

What Adam *doesn't* say is that the U.S. and UK staged a coup in 1953 against Iran's democratically elected leader and installed a dictator who was so brutal the Iranians turned to Ayatollah Khomeini and overthrew the Shah in 1979. If the Islamic Republic of Iran is a monster, WE CREATED IT.

I can't follow Rubio's "logic" behind child rapist Trump joining war criminal Netanyahu in an illegal and unprovoked decapitation strike against Iran that has started another forever war. I also can't follow the logic of Democrats who are angry they weren't consulted but happy with the body count.

They're in Israel's pocket. They're not against the war, just that they weren't given the chance to give it a thumbs-up.

While this is true, can we please stop trying to squeeze in justifications for another disastrous and illegal forever war whose repercussions will no doubt be felt for decades, if not generations?

"Hope" is not a strategy and never has been. This is going to be yet another colossal disaster, just like with Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and heaven knows where else. Sadly, those who will suffer the most will be the Iranian people.

They didn't impeach him for appearing tens of thousands of times in the batches of Epstein files that have been released so far. They're not going to impeach him for starting a war that most of Congress actually favors; Congress (particularly the Democrats) are just peeved he didn't ask them first.
