Coach 8139, adorned in of the coolest wraps Metro has commissioned, is operating the 1 Line shuttle service today with a message that's just as important now as when it came out in 2021!
#BlackLivesMatter #KingCountyMetro
Lilith: Black, medium-hair cat. Born feral. Largest, but youngest.
Ruby: Queen of the pride, speaks in the Royal We. Siamese-marked. Had an encounter with a coyote three months ago and is no longer allowed outside. (None of them are. We're getting a small catio.)
Rose: She and Ruby are littermates. She is also the smallest of the three. Had found a warm place to be. Preventing me from using my device.
"With, but not on."
Except for the one that is on my goddamn laptop. 😑
(1st Ave N just south of Denny. The weed store seems to drive the parking there. That being said, that lane is minor in the scheme of things.)
There are spots where we should authorize tow companies to take video and tow, let the ticket be written later based off the video.
Partly because they’re not enforced. Metro operators aren’t even supposed to honk at drivers in 24x7 bus lanes.
#forgetThat.
(they are not in Seattle, they're always either parked in or driven in by cars, and none are consistently respected enough to speed up the buses)
Are peak-hour bus lanes real, anywhere?
Or are they universally ignored by motorists at all times of day?
Curious if anyone has examples where they're respected...
Four regular construction cones, all fallen over.
VLC has crashed.
A line of bumper to bumper cars on a two lane street.
One of those things that we don’t talk enough about is that big sports games mess up traffic for a huge swath of the roads nearby, inconveniencing even those who had nothing to do with the game.
I’m sure there is a data recovery service that’ll charge you a lot to recover that.
Thank you.
(I have stealth ways to do the same while driving the bus.)
We likely are working. Getting to or from the bus we’re driving.
It’s such a surreal experience riding a bus after unlocking a new skill: operating a bus. I appreciate it much more and at the same time am harder and more annoyed by the idiotic shit.
Will try to make note of this tomorrow.
Uhhh. Did they not learn from executable code in office files? Or the whole ActiveX in Internet Explorer?
Funny thing is… the artics in most situations are more maneuverable.
A transit information sign showing information for the dates of November 18 to 20.
Hey @sound-transit.bsky.social if anyone ever accuses you of being incompetent. It’s because of shit like this.
This sign has been out at Stadium station since at least yesterday, even though it’s expired.
Reasons #17,654–17,661 that I love riding transit: I can chill/vibe and not have to focus on driving safely, I don't have to deal with asshole drivers, I can people-watch and city-watch, I can read, I can close my eyes.
🚌 ♥️
It never ceases to amaze me the number of people who live in cities and hate everything about living in a city.
Senate Dems right now....
The stores agreed to those conditions to take SNAP…
Tbh, I wonder how quickly they can leave then rejoin SNAP…
Hey @crankyflier.com maybe Spirit needs to sell these to make some money?
Too much light.
Three persons in inflatable frog costumes. One of them is holding a nicely painted sign with two little cartoon frogs holding hands, below the text "FROGS TOGETHER STRONG"
Blessed are the frogs, for they keep making authoritarians look incredibly stupid
Other way around after the SOC. Hawaiian Airlines operated by Alaska Airlines.
Those are donor coaches for the new ESS upgrade. They’ve been there for a long time without the electrical box on the roof. They’re having to rebuild the electrical switching system, so they’ve taken those out of service to have electrical units to rotate through rebuilding.
Now I just need to do poke around getting the old school 14 back for Pi Day, since it'll now be a 3 interlined to a 14.
