Yea, but most people are able to learn that if they just put in some degree of effort. Anyone can learn art as well of course but I feel like the effort needed is bigger if you don't have a solid starting point.

(I suck at art and personally feel like it would take an eternity to become good at it)

Yup, definitely depends on the requirements of the games you wanna make. But I feel like it's a longer journey to go from inherently sucking at art to being good at art, than to go from sucking at code to being good at code.

However, an advantage with being an artist that sucks at coding is I think it's generally easier to learn code than to learn art. I feel like being good at art is more inherent in your nature and instincts while code is something logical that can be taught easier.

Ultimately I think it depends on the type of games you make. A game where unique visual style is important and no complex code required, or a game where complex code is required and there are many good assets available that fits?
