I understand from the political podcasts that the conduct of the Iranians in the present war has been dishonourable because they have struck back at the international community which is pursuing world peace.

A somber black-and-white photograph taken from a first-person perspective in a hospital hallway. A person’s hands are visible at the edges of the frame, holding up a white bedsheet to create a makeshift privacy screen. Behind the sheet, the blurred silhouette of a patient lies on a hospital trolley in the middle of a busy corridor. Bold black text in the center reads, "Dignity shouldn't depend on a bedsheet," with a yellow underline under "shouldn't." A red banner at the bottom contains the white text, "End corridor care now!" The "EveryDoctor" logo is in the top left corner.

When hospitals run out of beds, "corridor care" becomes the norm. Patients are forced to receive care and life-changing news behind a piece of fabric. It is unsafe, undignified, and unacceptable.

We’re calling on the Health Department to end this crisis now.

I recall travelling on a bus in Cornwall many years ago that only ran on market day. The driver knew all the passengers and on the return journey he didn't leave at the set time but when all his passengers were on board, and he didn't stop at bus stops but dropped them all off at their homes.

A very interesting open letter to Donald Trump was published today by one of Dubai's most prominent figures.

@KhalafAlHabtoor is richer than Trump +his family will ever be, even after White House enrichment, and he packs a LOT of clout.

Here's the translation.
