A very sad update regarding the Colorado wolf that died during capture in Jan. CPW revealed the cause of death was from acute cardiogenic shock. A spokesperson for CPW said they were trying to change the battery on the wolf's GPS collar, which is why it was being captured.

It sickens me what wolves face at the hands of ego driven trophy hunters. Wolves are not a threat, but yet they find themselves at the hands of those whom are driven by a trophy sport, any excuse to hunt/kill for one’s own pride. It’s morbid, it’s inhumane! Wolves don’t deserve this act of cruelty.💔
