And she worked with pre-Portishead Portishead.

I didn't sell him that one. Gorecki, Nina Simone and a Bjork video are the only ones that I recall now.
A lot of 'new to me' starting from COVID. I did the '1001 albums to haer before you die' during that time, and in the last year started thrift shopping for CDs. I find I'm more open to trying something at $2 a disc and buying it gives me a vested interest in really giving something a listen.
I would guess BC Rich.
Memento is great no matter how many times you see it. It's even great in chronological order.
Everyday is Bandcamp day, but today is Bandcamp Friday. Two is probably the bext starting point to Dichroma's mix of metal/industrial/progressive music.
You're in luck!
I once sold several CDs to Jeff Buckley before a show in Toronto and several of them were mentioned is his 'top 10' things he was listening to in Rolling Stone.
When Rob came out, I don't what was more shocking -- that he finally came out, or that there were people who were actually shocked to find out.
Is it followed by a 'yeah!'?
I honestly don't know why he's on the 1001 albums list so often. The Mick Ronson produced one starts out strong, but then the bad vibes kick in.
Wishing Well is one of my favourite songs of all time.
Yeah, maybe not that 'earlier'. ๐
My biggest regret as a guitar player was not learning to play to a metronome earlier.
this would be true if Pop is Dead was on it.
Omitted live, but it is on the studio version (without the vocals).
Drool.
I feel like Hysteria-era Def Leppard while recording guitars for Dichroma. Hours for just several bars at a time.
I thought the series overall was incredbily acted and well written. But I always wanted to have a shower after watching an episode because pretty much every characted in it is so awful.
But Pable Picasso was never called an asshole.
youtu.be/Kc2iLAubras?...
For strummy acoustic, I prefer .7 or lighter, but for electic I can use pretty much any thing 1mm or thicker. Those little red jazz picks that are above 1mm are actually really precise and don't have a lot of 'fight' in them.
I'll have to give it a listen on Headphones. There was some odd stuff (but nothign that jumped out on crappy PC speakers).
Was the snare that 'thumpy' in the original mix? Otherwise, other than the more muted keys this mix doesn't sound that bad to me (even though I don't have a problem with the original mix).
Police/Fixx Rush is the best Rush.
That would have been cool. We stopped playing TO around '97.
I saw them on that tour in Toronto. Halfway through the second song, Hamilton threw his guitar across the stage and stomped off. The rest of the band finsihed the song and then stood there like dorks for about 10 minutes. About half an hour later, he came back on a finished the full set.
What was the band? Looks like around the time I played there.
Don't disagree with you, but I often hear artists at a certain level say they don't listen to themselves (why? Maybe because they have an audience and don't need to?).
And being well known on Youtube, perhaps he didn't want to appear as arrogant and narcissistict? I don't know.
Here'e the full teaser for the second EP. It's good, really good. You should check it out.
The teaser for our even better 2nd EP.
Since Dichroma's music is still new to pretty much everyone on the planet, figured I'd post some old EP teasers as we continue to work on the follow up EP.
