One thing we absolutely MUST demand from the Green and Liberal Democrat parties is trans-led inquiries. No more cis people checking the work of cis people. Trans people need to be empowered to directly punish our oppressors.
The NHS has now banned all puberty blockers and HRT for under-18s, denying them autonomy and care, all for political ends.

Now instead of hoping to get a service that is not really being offered, parents of trans kids know where they stand. If they’re good parents and care about the child’s welfare, they will no longer waste valuable time on relying on a system designed to fail them, but rather seek alternative sources
Pretending to offer trans health care on the NHS while having waiting periods for a first appointment of over TWENTY YEARS, is disingenuous at best. It gives people false hope. It is saying one thing and acting in a very different way.
Now we are left with stark clarity, for trans kids at least
There has been a de-facto ban on trans health care for *all* trans people in the UK now for many years.
That they are changing the language on this and stating it more openly, instead of pretending to offer a service that they in reality simply do not, could actually be a positive step forward.
