I saw the most incredible art exhibit at the Philbrook today by Joel Daniel Phillips with poems by Quraysh Ali Lansana. They’re huge pencil drawings of “killed negatives” and this one stopped me in my tracks. If this isn’t a @tkingfisher.com cover idk what is. Also a kingfisherey sculpture

I will also add: there are a startling amount of PIOs (public information officers) who used to be in news (at least when I worked news).

They know exactly what info they’re withholding from journalists in their releases and statements.

I’ve recently started The Assassin’s Apprentice. My kindle has informed me I’ve read it before, even going so far as to have saved highlights, but I have no recollection of it and look forward to (re?)reading the entire series. Not this weekend. Just book one this weekend. Ok bye
