kind of funny that an olympian said they are here to represent "compassion, respect, and love for others" and some people automatically knew that was a statement against them

Sparks an asideโฆ Iโve never quite understood how the 1UP mushroom and Toad people are supposed to be related/not-related in any way.
A grey blue washed image of a bearded young ish white guy looking into the mirror all serious with his palm pressed against it. A serif font title reads: DID I JUST ARGUE WITH A JOKE? A semi opaque navy snoot near the bottom bears the bluesky logo and the text PART OF A BLUESKY EDUCATIONAL SERIES
Even back in the 70s and 80s when I could be hassled by the police for walking while trans, no one ever tried to stop me pissing in the Ladies or tried to make me change into my swimsuit among men.
There is no dignity or respect involved in taking away rights I have exercised freely for forty years
Outstanding.
there are so many great things about generative AI! here are some of my favorites <3
Well that was a day to rememberโฆ #Wimbledon
Any of you been experimenting with AI in your work (or even personal!) lives and keen to share with others (and hear from
Others) on what youโre trying, discovering and learning? #AIOpenMic
So I wrote up a whole load of thoughts about my own experimentations with AI internally and in content creation - less what weโve done and more what we learnt along the way. Would encourage you all to find small or creative ways to experiment. #DigitalSense www.linkedin.com/pulse/lesson...

Loved marching with the @outvertising.bsky.social team during #Pride in London yesterday - in advertising itโs fair to say that #RepresentationMatters. #Outvertising

There is one place, however, where Musk, with the help of his minions, achieved his goals. He did indeed shred U.S.A.I.D. Though a rump operation is now operating inside the State Department, the administration says that it has terminated more than 80 percent of U.S.A.I.D. grants. Brooke Nichols, an associate professor of global health at Boston University, has estimated that these cuts have already resulted in about 300,000 deaths, most of them of children, and will most likely lead to significantly more by the end of the year. That is what Muskโs foray into politics accomplished.
Musk should be asked about this in every interview he does now and forever. To ignore it is a dereliction of duty.

Audits wonโt find anything โwrongโ but I suspect they could ask a simple questionโฆ is there one or two countries which gets an awful lot of 10-20 votes from people compared to others which just get 1 or 2? Thatโs the data needed.
If you were strongly motivated in some way to make a point about your countryโs participation, and perhaps encouraged by leaders in your community, it doesnโt need a vast dark conspiracy or hackersโฆ just a small effort.
Costs a Euro to vote onlineโฆ for about โฌ20k you could all but guarantee 12 points from the marketโฆ biggest barrier would be needing 1,000 credit cards, but most people have a few cardsโฆ you might only need about 250 willing volunteers.
The public Spanish televote data is actually insane. I assumed millions of votes were cast and it was a huge effort to mobilise people to make an impactful differenceโฆa mere 145k votes cast IN TOTAL in the Spanish Televote.

The ONLY reason to have a #Eurovision voting system which allows multiple votes for the same country is greed/profitโฆ but in doing so it makes it vastly easier for a small group of people to influence the voteโฆ each one of them able to equal 20 normal voters (more with multiple phones, cards etc)
Without diving too deep into the politics - it is an indisputable anomaly that Israel consistently tops the televote, even though a measure of popularity which is less easily influenced by a small determined group doesnโt recognise itโs popularity at all.
Who votes for a song they wonโt listen to?
โIn the end the Party would announce that two and two made five, and you would have to believe it. It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it.โ

๐ฎ๐ธ Icelandic broadcaster RรV is the third broadcaster to request information from the EBU about their #Eurovision televote.
"We will... request the same information from the EBU about the telephone vote as [RTVE]", said RรV director Stefรกn Eirรญksson.
No new episode of Captain #DigitalSense today? Because weโre cooking up something even more extraโฆ whilst still of course containing a valuable media/digital lesson (probably). Yes, for the penultimate episode things are about to get a whole lot more musical! Dropping at the end of the month. ๐

Anything could happen to Maltaโฆ I think large parts of Europe may find it hard to swallowโฆ
I donโt get the surpriseโฆ it was badly performed and quite bad to begin with?! Not like Kate Ryanโs injustice.
