Hex glares at nothing, and replies quietly, "I am a determined woman." Behing her is a thought bubble of her recalling how it happened. She's flipping a pancake on a pan over a stove, both as big as she is, while she's comically panicked, screaming with a spiky mouth, "SHIMAttAAAAAAA" There's a bag of pancake mix on the counter next to the stove. She shouldn't put that so close to it, it could catch on fire.

Chloe, a an anthropomorphic raccon-tanuki plush-person (human-sized) sits at their computer, wearing a bathrobe. They look grumpy, their visible eye fatigued, with a large emo-bang of hair swept over their other eye. "And I-- appreciate you, so-- treat yourself once in a while, 'ight?" Chloe is silent, ".... .... ...." Before remarking, eye wide, mouth open and contorted in pain, "...... you stabbed me in the Fucking Hand" Hex grits her sharp teeth, glaring coldly at Chloe, "you want a trophy? "You Want a McFucking Trophy?"

This blue color is also one I associate with herbicide: something many of us are consistently exposed to in order to do our work and tend to the land in any way. I don't often comment on meanings behind my pieces but I don't want this one to be left vague.

This one was made out of a love and respect to my blue collar coworkers and agrarian workers spending every day outdoors in a warming world and breathing in even more burning air to get through it all.
