I'm using Softmaker Professional 2024 (without AI) and am pretty happy with it. That version is still available for sale. It's also MS Office compatible.

The newer version (Softmaker Office NX) unfortunately has ChatGPT and DeepL in it and can only be licensed on a yearly basis.

It wasn't even a pattern but an article about donating knitted sock to an organisation. So, just use a picture of some knitted socks instead of generating one of a woman wearing knitted socks.

Knitting blog that uses AI pictures. Yeah, sorry but that's really not necessary. I would rather have a picture of something handknitted even if the picture isn't very good than some AI-slop. I didn't even bother finish reading the article and just closed the tab.

Apple sauce is also nice on fresh waffles (brought to you by small German christmas markets ๐Ÿ˜‰).

We do jams on waffles. Usually mom's homemade ones, so strawberry-rhubarb or gooseberry-strawberry, or just some berry mix (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries). And whipped cream.

Left: Black-and-white 1860s portrait of Louisa May Alcott seated at a small table, wearing a dark Victorian dress with a high collar and ribbon tie. Her hair is pulled back and up neatly, and she gazes calmly to the side with a thoughtful expression. Right: Modern paperback cover of Little Women by Louisa May Alcott (Signet Classics edition). Four young women in colorful 19th-century dresses and shawls stand arm-in-arm on a grassy hill, seen from behind, with the title in elegant blue lettering and "LOUISA MAY ALCOTT" in white at the bottom.

And he wasn't the only one. There were others. But Morell was interesting because he probably wasn't a believer and more of an opportunist and grifter.

It's also funny how he met Hitler. He treated an STD for Hitler's personal photographer who then introduced him to Hitler.

Didn't Stalin die of a heart-attack? I never heard that Beria poisoned him.

There's a German documentary about Theo Morell who was Hitler's personal physician that was intersting. Especially the infighting between the various doctors. And instances where Morell provided a misdignosis and mistreated Hitler. But more out of hubris and ego that plans to end his life.

James Bond investigates a suicide. Wanda Gershwitz, the Marlboro Man, and Muriel Heslop are among the suspects, while a charming Captain America pulls some strings in the background.

This. ๐Ÿ˜‚

And when Joyce Barnaby shows up your days are definitely numbered. Seriously, she has to be Britain's most prolific serial killer, aided by her DI husband who hides her murders and frames someone else.

Every time I watch Midsomer Murders, I want one of those pretty little cottages with the garden. (Not true, I want Barnaby's house.)

But that would also mean living in Midsomer which is not very healthy for creative people. We somehow constantly turn up dead.

Do you ask if signing the book is okay or do you stealth-sign? And if the latter, have you ever been caught and gotten into trouble because of it?

If you're doomscrolling, guess what? So far there are 51 kฤkฤpล chicks hatched and thriving this season, the same number of birds as we had in TOTAL in the 90s! Only one chick has died and there are still fertile eggs waiting to hatch!

Utterly insane, and I hope the Mouse and others sue them to hell and back.

Also, at least four (or five depending) would have hated the current regime and worked against it.

And starting with Tony Stark??? Have they bothered to watch the movie and why he created Iron Man?

Same with Maximus Meridius. Who's an entirely fictional Roman. In a movie directed by a Brit played by an actor from New Zealand.

Yes, that's a cmpletely different story and usually a choice on the side of the writer. And one that requires research, instead of just making things up like tv-writers often seem to do. Or do the easy explanation because the format requires it. You can't do complexity in a 45-minutes episode.

06.03.2026 16:04 ๐Ÿ‘ 1 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Yeah, that's also my view-point, especially when it comes to the interpretation of any kind of text.

And with historical texts or texts from another culture, it becomes even more complex because the meaning of words changes. Or has nuances that we might not be aware of.
