I know the one and I'm very jealous you still have that option. Our local lane has last connection with tradition and only has these lifeless modern ones
I haven't continued watching but a friend who has basically said as much, that the show clearly isn't particularly interested in wading into sci-fi or unpacking the world in an interesting way. Sad!
Yeah it's so odd you're tempted to think there's something there, but I really think it's just bad writing :/ And shoutout to Severance season two, what a tragedy there. And thanks for reading!
