Here is my recent snapshot, Fortnite.gg is great at telling me where in discovery No Safe Passage is. The Red is in the "New Updates" section which is mostly buried where the blue is in the more prominant "New and Updated" section. Wonder what CTR would have been in a "New/Up Roguelike" section?

Epics push to give new content (Maps and major updates) a chance in their discovery queue is pretty great. I do question if they use their knowlege of players to focus maps when pushing? NSP got roughly 320k impressions and wonder how many of those were useful?

As I am on the home stretch of my #uefn month challenge, I want to shout out Fortnite creators who wake up every day to their extremely creative and inventive islands that get little plays while looking at yet another "*InsertGun* ONLY! ONE SHOT" map get 50k concurrent.

I am finding the current state of creative ultra depressing. From creators utlising drama/rage culure to push their own agendas to the reliance of working within an evershifting algo to gain any hope of survivablity. It's not good for the mind. Carry on

Just over a week since I opened up #UEFN and started to learn. I am both floored by the ability for rapid creation that UEFN allows and also baffled by some of the restrictions of Verse.

My personal opinion is that GDC will just become a very insular event filled with recruitment and senior staffers networking. The growing price of entry leads to an entrenched class system. Which sucks

Last year I was given a free ticket for GDC through one of their programs. Issue was it was given to me so close to the time it became impossible to take time off, get flight and accommodation.
I wish they brought back their Europe event too. San Fran is expensive on any European on their own dime
Today is the deadline I set for myself for releasing a demo of my game. I'm happy to say...that I am absolutely no where near that milestone but I have learnt a lot along the way.
I can't wait to come up with a new milestone and miss that one too #gamedev

Dust off your projects day 6: Bit of a strange one but this was a little experiment into attempting to create a small window game. Like a mixture of an idle game and a Tamagotchi. It would also play YouTube livestreams through an in game radio while your guy fishes
