What is the most insane combo of spoiler tags you have seen/can come up with? I know I’ve seen a “The Plucky Squire/1000xRESIST” one before but i want to know other peoples
Haven't been watching while I'm still finishing the game, but I'm glad to hear you agree with me lmao. Could spend a whole game with them just selling me on touring places I've never heard of.
Hmmm, its possible that the JP script had "三月" written and somehow the dubbing translator mistook that for "in 3 months" (the relevant scene is set in January) instead of "3rd month" AKA March
But I checked the audio and Makoto very clearly says "San-Gatsu" so it should unmistakably be March
But I don't know how you can fuck up 3月 as "April". The 3 is pretty blatantly present in the Japanese word. There's no way that's an editing mistake, right? That's the translator fucking up numbers somehow
MHA dub has always been consistently good, this season not necessarily an exception. But I've noticed small little mistakes here and there that makes me feel like the dubbing team's editors are not paying attention. Changing "rational" to "logical", having Midnight shout that she's "turned on", etc
When I watched the most recent episode of MHA Vigilantes, I was so confused as to why the anime decided to change the timeframe for an entire story arc
I checked the subs, and there, the timeframe is correct to what the manga originally said (March)
So what kind of fuckup is this?

Aerial view of Kami-Shima, AKA Kameshima
Interior of the Kantekisho Ruins, similar angle seen in PNS2
Exterior of the Kameshima lighthouse, similar angle seen in PNS2
Shot of the shrine steps and the adjacent road, similar angle to PNS2
Man, I really believed the bait that the main island from Paranormasight 2, Kameshima, was "fictional" with no basis in reality
But last night I found out THAT IT *IS* REAL! Kameshima does exist! The game changed the island's shape, but otherwise it's the same! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kami-sh...
As a visual learner I'm just gonna put up some images to help illustrate my thought process
For new Paranormasight 2 players:
These scene selections are what I would consider to be the game's Prologue, so I recommend focusing on these at the very beginning of the game.

-Tomokazuki (both routes) -Memories of the Last Summer -Something I Want to Do -Advice -Cursed -Time to Meet Up
1. When the minigame's tutorial is finished, quit out of the minigame and progress the story. Play the minigame once you return.
2. Play the following chapters in the precise order listed in the image.
After that, play the game however you want. It's really just for these 6 chapters.
That said, the game has one notable issue? IMO
It's (fantastic) open-ended design (tackling plot lines in different orders) is a bit TOO open from the start, ruining the "Prologue"'s pacing and structure.
If anyone wants to play PNS2, my recommendation on how to play through the Prologue is:
Oh yeah, Paranormasight The Mermaid's Curse has been awesome. A fantastic collection of characters and such an intriguing story and mystery
It refuses to beat the tourisms allegations, I got like an hour of info-dumping about historical landmarks and it was beautiful

Werent people talking last week about how there was a teaser for a Nier Automata 2, and instead we get an announcement for this?
Massive crossover project in which 2B kicks Shinji’s ass and gets on the mech instead
exCUSE ME?!?!?!
If anyone wants to read my Paranormasight playthrough, you can catch it on this thread here. I'm still very early in the game, but its pretty interesting so far

One of Otogirisou's most famous secrets is something called the pink bookmark, a hidden scenario that tells a comedic (and risque) retelling of the game. At one point, Chunsoft even held a campaign where fans could receive a parody manga if they mailed proof that they had obtained the pink bookmark.

There's more than one canonical short story out there where all of this happens.
In fact, there's a short story where this happens during the timeskip in this particular episode.
My Seed is "UniformHomingNectar", if anyone wants to give it a shot
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Randomizer

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Randomizer
I've been dying to play a randomizer for this game in forever, and I took a couple of weeks playing this.
BOY, I was so stuck on this, LITERALLY my last chest available in the whole game was the light arrows, I 100% completed it by accident!
Im not a fan of any of the franchises shown. At most I'm interested in Control 2 cuz I wanna play through the Alan Wake games eventually, and im looking forward to seeing the Scary Games Squad play RE9, but of the new announcements none of them spoke to me.
Listen, that State of Play was arguably better than the recent Direct Partner Showcase
But to me its a comparison between a presentation with 0 games im interested in, and a presentation with 1 (one) game im interested in (Paranormasight 2)
A piece of the Otogirisou flowchart. It's divided into 3 columns of 5 rows each. Column 1 is "Start of the game" Column 2 is "Nami sees the hypericums" Column 3 is "Telling the story to Nami" The first 2 rows are colored red and yellow respectively, and marked as "Available from the start." Row 3 is colored green and labeled Wave 1 Row 4 is colored blue and labeled Wave 2 Row 5 (H) is colored pink and labeled Wave 3 Choices for each scene point to a colored box, indicating what scene in the next column it corresponds to. Choices exclusive to the first 2 rows are blank. Choices within Row 5 (H) or choices leading into Row 5 are pink. Non-pink choices within Row 4 or leading into Row 4 are blue. Non-pink and non-blue choices within Row 3 or leading into Row 3 are green. Choices from Rows 1 and 2 that don't lead outside of Row 1 or 2 are left blank.
I made a flowchart for the game a couple of years ago when I played it, its inner workings really do just be ghost legs. Basically a choose-your-own-adventure novel in the most literal sense.
Here's a snippet of what the "first" 5 minutes are like. You can google the rest if you don't mind spoilers

One of Vanillaware's co-founders (Takehiro Shiga) drew this cool illustration depicting the structure of Chunsoft's most famous sound novels. This was posted around the time 13 Sentinels was entering production, so the devs may have been studying these sound novels while conceptualizing the game.
Paranormansight: The Mermaid's Curse coming Feb 19th, 2026
Squeenix announcing a new Paranormasight and then releasing it 2 weeks later is so fucking evil

The Night Manager Season 2
Idk what to really think about this one. It had good moments but I think everything about it felt inferior to season 1. A weird unbalance in trying to be too different and trying too hard to rehash things. The twist in expectations was good, but the rest was ok I guess
