That is the genuinely accepted rule by the Kat Lords. Long live their reign.

Brand new to the little urban Cassiopeia Gardens & Orchard.

Bred by the good folks at Michigan State University, Dr. Douches & team have released the BlackBerry Potato. Loaded with antioxidants it promises to be excellent for homemade chips.

The "Radioactive" Peas have been planted. Golden Sweet and King Tut Purple. You know, Yellow and Magenta, like the signage? πŸ˜†

Our Purple Magesty Potatoes - Mid Season variety are in the bags for 2026!

Maryland Zone 7. Has Spring Sprung? The potato "eyes" vote yes!

$.60 in the last few days here in MD. Yesterday I got gas at 3.29 at 0630 on the way to work. Driving by at 1630 it was 3.49

Almost dreading the drive back home today.

Good review Prepper's Paradigm. What's your thoughts on shortening powder? We got a half dozen #10 cans and a few #2.5 cans of it.

Find yourself a community or local "tribe" who will participate and work with you to stave off a fast or even slow decay.

He's been a problem for a long time, but I am reminded:
1) You can hate your countries leaders
2) You can hate those who bomb you as well

Both 1 & 2 guarantee a future generation of hate and terrorists sadly.

Eva white potatoes (x2). This year we've added a set of Burpeeana Early peas (x3) in each grow bag.

New pea for our garden, called First 13 (x56). Promises to have up to 13 peas per pod. Will report back on this as the season progresses. Expected height about 48 to 60 inches.

With the planet warming and an increase of growing days here in Maryland, Zone 7 we've got the urban Cassiopeia Garden and Orchard started.

9 potato grow bags completed and 3 beds of peas this weekend. My grow partner has completed pruning of the plum trees and moved on to the pears.

Put away another 2 jars (32 oz. each) of dried peas yesterday. O2 Absorber and Desiccant pack in each. Vacuum sealed them.

Power: Good to go mostly
Water: 10 days in house, tub tanks for another 15. About 1/2 year of tablets and powders for treatment.
Food: Enough until Summer of 2027 for 8 souls
It's touch and go after that, we have backup solar, seeds, 660 gallons of external water tanks, garden beds, & fruit trees.
