It's Monday, and time to kick off our #MondayMotivation Series!
Launching this small business has come with its hard moments, but that is so worth it. It's been truly incredible to see the response, especially from youth, and here's hoping we can continue to grow!

My linocut print shows an Irish earthen mound or sΓdhe at night covered in dark green grass under a cyan blue starry sky with moon. The base of the mound is marked with grey rocks and there is a shaft-like entrance with post and lintel rocks that is black inside. Below this is a black region underground and then thereβs a gathering of 6 human-like Aos SΓ, 3 men and 3 women in long robes printed in a gradient of green and gold ink who appear to glow and have pointed ears. They wear flowers and branches and antlers in their hair. 11β x 14β
Some Irish folklore this St Patrickβs Day: the SΓdhe, the Aos sΓ, the fair folk, the good people, or the people of the shee from Irish folklore, who live underground. You may know the banshee, or Bean sΓdhe or woman of the sΓdhe. In fact the very word SΓdhe is the term for earthen mounds like π§΅

A poster reads 'Labrador art adventures' and advertises for a series of art activities for youth from age 11 to 24
The world is complicated, but the LFC supported this little idea to provide art supplies to Labrador youth so they could try diff mediums and maybe create more art from their amazing perspectives ποΈ
Sometimes these programs seem pointless with the state of the π
But these kids make me keep trying ποΈ

Orphaned kids in Gaza compete at making backflips amidst the rubble. Traumatized teenagers in Ukraine play football in bombed out stadiums. Soldiers play to stay sane. Playfulness is an act of self-expression, of togetherness, of humanity; acts that can be afforded even in the darkest of time.

Trump announces double tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum
President Trump said it plans to put a 50% tariff on steel and aluminum from Canada in an escalation of recent trade tensions between the countries.
This makes no sense: A U.S. tariff on steel and aluminum means that U.S. companies will pay more to import those products. That can lead to higher prices for American businesses and consumers. #uspoli www.npr.org/2025/03/11/n...
