Happy birthday to the brilliant, tragic Jack Cole. One of the founders of the comic book biz-- he started at Harry Chesler Studio in 1936!-- he went on the create, write & draw the brilliant Plastic Man for Quality Comics. Sureal & funny, Plastic Man was one of the very best of the Golden Age.
