Students come up to me with updates after almost every class. Today it was that the tariffs were all paused for 90 days (save for China).
If assets within a jurisdiction are still subject to wealth tax (land, local securities, etc), leaving the jurisdiction would be substantially less attractive than it is without a wealth tax. Many of the folks who have renounced US citizenship for tax purposes still have massive investments there.
Still with a PE ratio of almost 130! Volkswagen and General Motors are both at about 4.5. It is a meme stock.
