Finishing another sword today :D

the heaviest sword I've forged was exactly this one, at 3.5kg and 190cm

well, the answer is probably somewhere between 7 or 8

damn, I wish stuff like that in steel would be wieldable xD looks pretty damn cool

God every step of this was exponentially harder than on any regular sized sword, but also fun and definitely worth it

Making this sword is literally draining me of my life force but there you go, one step closer to be done

Nope! Actually it is still way to thick, I have to remove a lot of material from it and then curve it onto itself as a katzbalger crossguard, that's why it needed to be so long

And me!

Yeah, the average for longawords tend to be around 115-120, normally a 88-92 cm blade with 25-28 grips. This one here has a 97cm blade with a 27 cm grip, but yeah, 140 is pretty massive
The other one though is 195 at the moment xD

Oh damn that's indeed preeeetty long, is that a feder or a regular longsword?
